WELCOME TO WEST VIRGINIA'S  Christmas City

It all began with the Holiday of Lights. Every year, Bluefield City Park in Bluefield, West Virginia is transformed into a showcase of holiday themes during its annual Hometown Christmas Festival. The region is invited to drive through the beautiful park ablaze with a stretch of over 1.5 million lights and wonderful scenes.

2025 will be Bluefield's fifth official year as West Virginia's Christmas City. The Christmas City festivities annually kick off with the Christmas Tree Lighting. Check out our Activities & Events tab for a complete list of fun activities for the whole family.
